Alabama Lands 4-Star WR Osani Gayles in 2027 Class Boost
The California native chose the Crimson Tide over Washington, Tennessee, and Stanford.
Four-star wide receiver Osani Gayles committed to Alabama on Saturday, choosing the Crimson Tide over Washington, Tennessee, and Stanford in the class of 2027.
Gayles, a California native who now plays at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., was ranked No. 52 in the Rivals Industry Ranking and was considered one of the top uncommitted receivers in the 2027 cycle.
A Needed Jolt for Alabama's 2027 Class
The commitment provides a significant addition to what had been a thin Alabama 2027 recruiting class, giving the Crimson Tide a needed boost entering the latter portion of the offseason recruiting calendar.
Gayles had been one of Washington's top targets in the class, making his decision a notable swing away from the Huskies and toward head coach Kalen DeBoer's program in Tuscaloosa.
It's definitely a championship environment.

Alabama had been aiming to finish June strong on the recruiting trail, and the addition of an ESPN 300 pass receiver ranked among the nation's top uncommitted wideouts represents a significant step toward that goal.
