Oregon Lands 5-Star WR Xavier Sabb, Bolstering 2027 Recruiting Class

Five-star wide receiver Xavier Sabb committed to Oregon on Friday, giving the Ducks one of the nation's highest-rated receivers in the 2027 recruiting class. Sabb, who plays at Glassboro, N.J., is ranked No. 20 in the SC Next 300 and chose Oregon over UCLA and LSU.

The commitment marked the second five-star pledge Dan Lanning secured in the span of a week, underscoring a sustained surge for Oregon's 2027 class. The Ducks had also landed a trio of highly rated four-star prospects since the start of the month, further deepening a class that has drawn national attention.

Sabb's recruitment drew interest from a competitive field. Tennessee was also among the programs he considered before ultimately selecting Oregon.
